Matt Ham
CEO / Founder
Matt Ham is the founder and CEO of Med Spa Local. Matt is an entrepreneur and 3x founder who has spent his career founding companies and consulting on marketing and management solutions. Matt has strong analytical skills and specializes in growing companies by building robust and scalable systems. Matt is technical and data driven, but also understands and embraces the sales and creative aspects of running a business. A few highlights from his professional background include:
- Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Energy Systems from Columbia University.
- Former COO/CFO of LaptopMD, directly responsible for quadrupling the company’s revenue and implementing modern digital solutions to streamline operations.
- Founded Computer Repair Doctor in 2013, a retail computer and repair store chain, growing the company to 9 locations across many states before a successful sale of all corporate stores in 2020.
- Co-Founded Repair Lift in 2018, a digital marketing agency focused on niche local services, growing the company to hundreds of clients.
- Co-Owner & Chief Marketing Officer of Datalab Data Recovery, overseeing the company’s marketing and digital systems, and advising management on company operations.
- Former Managing Director/COO of QueensGiant, a boutique investment banking firm.
- Active SEC/FINRA Licenses: Series 79TO – Investment Banking Registered Representative, Series 63 – Uniform Securities Agent State Law
Carlton Smith
Co-Founder / Chief Strategist & Accounts Director
Carlton is a seasoned digital marketing executive with over two decades of experience. Carlton was a senior editor at Time Inc. Lifestyle Digital, overseeing SEO and marketing strategies. Carlton is a repeat agency owner, previously founding Flagstone Search Marketing that helped small businesses with local marketing efforts in several verticals. A five-year member of Forbes Agency Council. Forbes Agency Council is an invitation-only organization for senior-level executives in successful public relations, media strategy, creative and advertising agencies.
Scott Donovan
Co-Founder / Chief Analyst & Paid Ads Director
Scott has personally managed Google Ads for hundreds of local businesses, overseen millions of dollars in ad spend, and is always pushing to achieve a more substantial ROI. Google search ads are his favorite advertising method because there is no better time to reach a customer than their time of need. He also believes a solid call-to-action can go a long way to bringing customers in the door.
